Its conquerors haki, the mainstream term. We dont call it spirit eventhough it literally translated as spirit.

Yea so with zoan fruits there are multiple fruits that are the same but just have different models like with the snake fruit it says model king cobra and model adaconda like if you look way back to enies lobby lucci has the cat cat fruit model leopard so it could be a model lion tiger cheetah etc and boa has the love love fruit so as far as we know only those two sisters have snake fruits

At arlong park Luffy said that he needs his crew to survive and here we see that. If Sanji was there, he wouldn't let Luffy eat poison mushrooms. Franky would have built him a decent ship to cross calm belt. Nami would have navigated and Chopper to save those turned into stone. I like how Oda showed that by making Luffy remembering his crew not only to forget his is alone but also how depended he is on them. They are a team and they all depend on each other.

1 in a million is actually a lot when you think of the world population. You will only see more people who have it in the series because the people who have Conquerors Haki are the type of people who lead. So they would be the people in the new world more.

The first presence of the Haki was in episode 5, when shanks used it to scare the sea monster.

No pretty sure that was the first display of haki. They made sure to point out "hey isn't it weird that Garp's fist hurt Luffy like he wasn't even rubber?"

about the garp punching luffy thing -- the reason peopled mentioned it is because luffy's innate rubber body makes him more durable; even if he gets injured and starts bleeding, his df played a role in reducing the amount of damage he took. in that specific instance however, garp's punch seemed to have "bypassed" luffy's innate durability and damaged him as if his body isn't made of rubber (as mentioned by sanji who witnessed this.)

When Luffy gets hit by sanji / nami and gets bumps thats just pure comedic relief. They always skip to the next scene and hes back to normal. Luffy isn't completely resistant to non haki attacks but he has a High resistance to it. That mixed with his tenacity and will power makes him a tuff mf to knock down. They're making a point to emphasize that haki can touch and hurt DF users and then yall can recall to many events in the past and it will click in yall head why certain people were able to do certain shit. It'll all make more sense later on of course.

What they mean't by 1 in a million is basically this: those who have the qualities of a "king" or "conqueror" have this haki because they are destined to become something bigger than avery1else in the future.

Everytime Luffy said "Why it's hurt even tho i'm a rubber" It's pretty much a display of haki, that why people remind you when Garp hit Luffy, someone mention this exact lines. About Zoan type it's been said since the drum island that Dalton had the Ox-Ox fruit 'model Bison' and Kaku had the exact same Ox-Ox fruit but 'model Giraffe'. Zoan type have a multiple variation to them this made devil fruit more specific and it possible to think that there're someone in One Piece world that might have another variation of the same fruit.

Remember guys on Sabaody Zoro used bloodlust to scare his opponents who were weak. Although it has been contested and interpreted differently by some in the OP community like yourselves. You definitively seen this form of haki displayed only by Shanks, Rayleigh, and Luffy.

Yh as far as zoans there are multiple animal variations of the same fruit, like rob lucci ate the cat fruit, but the leopard variant, & kakku ate the Ox fruit but the giraffe variant

The thing with Garp that made it different, is that all the other Straw Hats commented on it. They made a big deal about Luffy actually taking damage there, whereas the other times, they can tell he's just fine.

Haki can closely be translated to "Spirit" or "Will" so some translations use that but most of us just stick with the classic Conquerors "Haki"

Im not trying to be "That Guy" but they showed THREE types of Haki in this episode alone; in regards to the Haki, Oda has given you guys all the breadcrumbs to put it together. You've seen multiple types of HAKI , (maybe under a different name?) lol. If it helps you guys understand it better think of Conquerors Haki as Spiritual Pressure from Bleach.
