2020-09-26 16:07:54 +0000 UTCIn the manhwa Jegal's ability is to absorb and use others abilities, which is named Tam(Greed) thats why he had a shark then at other times "undead". And thats also how he took the key from Ilpyo and ate it.. They should've at least explained Jegals Charyeok

2020-09-26 06:37:08 +0000 UTCI kind of hated the whole Charyeok and key angle. I just wanted a nice brawler. Even the nanomachines lowered the post-impact from a fight.

2020-09-22 19:34:26 +0000 UTCthis is why i say dont make an anime adaptation til u can giv it the amount of episodes it needs. im not here for good enough tower of god and god of high school needed more episodes.

2020-09-22 18:59:21 +0000 UTCFights were A+ for me, definitely one of the most action packed anime I've watched in a long time, and considering the fact it was made by Crunchyroll who haven't been don't exactly have the budgets of bigger company, definitely a A+. If the art itself had been a tad bit bettr, definitely would have been an S, but can't really hate on it for that. Story is a B- for me, definitely started out good, wasn't the most original story in the beginning but it was enjoyable and made sense. As late episodes came out, and with the introductions of the power system the story definitely turned to one giant mess. Not going to give it a C because I do believe with only 12 episodes, and with so much material they tried their best to make it as entertaining as possible, whihc it definitely was, just didn't make a lot of sense by the end. I think B- is a little too generous from, but with such a massive story and only 12 episodes you gotta understand there's definitely going to be issues fitting all that and making it make sense. Overall rating: B+, action definitely carried, amazing action scenes of just pure fighting, animation team went hard on this one, W for them. Manga story isn't exactly the most complex, so I'm not sure how they manage to butcher the story like that.

2020-09-22 11:52:04 +0000 UTCHe has the ability to absorb other Chareyoks, one is summoning those undeads (should have been clones of himself, because that was the ability of the dude that fought against Mori earlier). In the Manga you can see that he eats most of the other contestants of GoH and then fights Team Mori for the key. In the anime they skip the entire TEAM FIGHT, skip a lot of Moris 1v1 against Jegal and go straight to his God Form after absorbing the key. They never really explained what effect the fruit that Mori has eaten in ep3 or so has either: It allows to use an acupuncter techniqe of the old The Six dude to go into a "Kaioken"-Mode. That should have come up in this battle. They skipped like a lot of character moments too :(

2020-09-22 11:46:59 +0000 UTCI mean the whole Tournament Structure was changed from beating the entire team of the opponent to best of 3. This cuts a lot of character building. They just rushed 24 - 26 episodes into 13 literaly. Therefor the story suffers a lot. There should be a great lead up to the end of the episode where Moris Teams fights against Jegals Team, Mori with "Kaioken" acupuncter and fighting together with Daewi against an army of clones, because Jegal absorb other Abilitys like Paylongs (which we saw earlier in ep 9 or 10 and NEVER came up again, wtf). At this point the anime is wasted and just cool to look at, but no substence behind it. Which is sad, because it would make a season 2 and certain events down the line more impactful. TL:DR: Read the Manwha to understand the story...

2020-09-22 10:59:42 +0000 UTCI haven’t read the manga but from this episode I think he got the undead powers from nox & developed the shark chareyok himself, & the baby wasn’t that bad Lool I’m pretty certain it was a symbol of his rebirth

2020-09-22 08:50:09 +0000 UTCThe fights in this show are insane but this definitely feels like a “fake” anime...like something you’d see on an American TV show or cartoon where they parody anime or that spongebob anime thing that’s been going around

2020-09-22 08:11:14 +0000 UTCShow has a lot of hype. I haven't read the manga and can only assume(hope) it's better. There is much unexplained shit is just happening which takes away a lot for me. If they explained everything seems like it'd be a super dope story. But until then, it's dumb and incomplete. Still enjoyable though.

2020-09-22 05:45:30 +0000 UTCThis anime started off so good. Then Charyeok and some issues came up and it all went somewhere else. Action: A+ Story: D+
