I guarantee you dislike the series because it is in chinese and have some type of prejudice, because if you think the animation is bad all hope is lost.

2020-09-24 13:10:27 +0000 UTCIn regards to the "Is it anime if it isn't from Japan?" question: Like the wikipedia page said, at least in Japan itself "Anime" refers to all kinds of animation, no matter where it is from. In a similiar vein, before "Anime" caught on as a name for stuff from Japan and Cartoon for stuff from America, in Germany you'd use "Zeichentrickfilm" for animated series and movies no matter where it's from, for example for Heidi (1974), which was a huge thing in Germany but was actually completely produced in Japan. (And animated movies & series in China would apparently be Dong Hua, a "manga" Man Hua)
