Blackbeard is basically an anti-logia. He can't avoid attacks and everything hurts more. I'm kinda disappointed about Hannyable's lines though, originally he was saying "You shall not pass!". Basically the same, but it hit way harder.

Morality and what is right is skewed in this world though, some see freedom as piracy at least from Luffy's perspective. If the government views these people that do not conform into a certain caste that they want then those people are viewed as enemies/pirates. If someone were to free a slave ship or something then they would be considered a criminal.

I still don't understand why they think there was more fight after the Ace Blackbeard fight. That clash happened then that was it, Ace's hat falling down was representative of him loosing in that clash.

I always thought that Blackbeard was a straight up Logia, but instead of being made of fire/smoke like Ace and Smoker, he’s made of “darkness” like a black hole that sucks everything in, so when he tries to become intangible he kinda just...implodes and sucks himself in.

Just a recollection, and blackbeard already said this when he fought vs ace, he ate the yami-yami no mi a logia devil fruit, but, this type of devil fruit is exceptional due to it being gravity type devil fruit, that he can't be in an intagible form, and he can absorb the essence of any other devil fruit powers no matter the case. (doesn't mean that he can use other people's powers, just means that he can negate devil fruit powers as long he is touching said devil fruit user)

We got no new footage for Ace in Blackbeard everything in the flashback was in an episode that you have already watched The borders are really really really old clips we’ve already seen just like with the Laboon clip and yes Luffy did do that stance for that gear second pistol he used it the first time he ever transformed when he punched Blueno in Enies Lobby... This is what I love about One Piece, Hannybal is just doing his job, although we know Luffy isn't a bad pirate he is still a pirate. The grey area in One piece is amazing, we know there are dicks in the WG but there are people just doing their jobs.

Blackbeard is a logia but he doesn't have the ability of not taking hits like other logias. That is the downside of his fruit but instead he can make other's fruit powers if he touches them. He also showed us that he can tank attacks well while fighting with Ace. So he tanks attacks touch the other to nullify their fruit and attack. His attacks are strong too.

Luffy's aiming stance was actually the very first form he made when went Gear 2 with Blueno (CP9) at Enies Lobby. Blueno said to him something along the lines: "What? Are you aiming at me? That gives me only more time to dodge your attack", but obviously Luffy was too fast for him :)

hes like a special case of logia. only problem he takes twice the damage. he's susceptible to physicals but he can absorb df attacks. as you saw what he did to ACe not too long ago.
