Few corrections. Kaidos title is world's strongest creature. The word creature means any living thing not just beasts. Also, if you go back and watch before Marineford, they never said Kaido and Shanks fought. The marines said there was a minor clash. A fight between two Yonko is anything but minor. Neither of them would walk away unscathed. Something happened for Kaido to leave and even us manga readers don't know it yet.
