The only future younger Eren saw was whatever his dad saw there in that cave only because right after he eats his dad and it's technically a past memory at that point. He didn't know he was going to get his head shot off or that Marley was going to attack that soon. Whatever his older self showed his dad there, is what younger Eren saw and knew would happen.

Thats why when eren turned around to leave the room griesha couldn't see zeke anymore.
