Not sure if you guys missed the parallels between luffy and sanjis mum. Sanji went in the rain to give food to his mum, he was met with an aggressive dog. Made it to his mum and gave her the food, which was all disgusting. Sanjis mum ate it and said it was beautiful. Same thing with Luffy, sanji ran in the rain and was met with an aggressive dog. The food he gave luffy was messed up, and yet luffy said it was beautiful

Yea the Achilles heel was named after the character because that is what killed him, the story of Troy was written in ancient Greece by Homer so that's where the term Achilles heel came from

they're being half dramatic with the old man face but Luffy always recovers his strength by eating so they just wanted to make a point of it to the viewers. Thats why he had such a hard time against that dude with the girl on his shoulder. Luffy had not eaten in a while so his power was trash lol
