Great episode, but the first half was only covering around two panels. That said, the named characters in this are never one dimensional, they always have reasons for what they do and they're just so well thought out. I think the Manga is still better though.

you guys giving too much attention to the comments, OP is one of the biggest franchises in the world which comes with one of the biggest fanbases in the world, and so ofc, a good number of idiots making thier way here, just ignore stuff like that, and always keep in mind that criticisms are always louder than compliments. "Story Bukake" tho XD.

While it's nice that you want them to watch with the "original subs" there are no such things. By this I mean that many of the versions that we watched years ago no longer exist, because we either watched fan subs or official subs that were later replaced by new official subs from different websites. If you can find a website that hosts One Piece with "better" subs, please watch an episode to compare the subs to make they're actually good and then let us know what website that is. Many people have made the same request as you but no one has actually been able to find better subs anywhere.

Ever since Whiskey Peak (the island that looks like giant cactuses but it's actually tombstones) Lycan has been permanently scarred. He can't bring himself to trust Oda. He want's to try and predict what Oda's next big trick is. Not saying there's anything wrong with that though, he's entitled to his theories, but the evidence he uses to support them sometimes is literally just "I don't want to get fooled by Oda" so I'm just trying to keep him honest lol

Yeah sengoku said he wanted to kill them but a lion doesnt need to use all his strength to kill a rabbit. He is onlyusing his physical strength to punch them and luffy only able to wthstood it because hes rubber. Furthermore luffy instantly turned into chibi luffy after taking that punch not to mention the scaffolding couldnt handle sengokus immense strength. I think the reason Garp was so on agenda to make Luffy a Navy is because he failed to do so with his own son Dragon. Or Dragon was a Navy once, saw how shit it is (Celestial Dragons) and went full Revolutionary Leader instead of changing the Navy from within over time. Whatever the case, he didnt want his whole family to go against him in the futue. I think Garp and his family is one of the most interesting dynamics in the series.

I've always thought that Roger's execution was basically a suicide, he knew that he had seen all there was to see in the world and wanted to end on a high note. He probably could have stayed the king of pirates or at least as an emperor well into the modern era if he really felt like it.

Its crazy how Amenz goes from calling Ace's tattoo trash (in episode 94), to buggin out when he sees his tattoo with the fire when Ace gets freed.

Speaking on you guys having theories and people putting you down for them, let me let y'all in on a little secret: NOBODY HAS ANY ROOM TO TALK LMAO. So many people have come up with One Piece theories that were WAY off. Myself included. There are so many youtube theory videos out there that didn't age well. Just ignore the naysayers and have fun speculating. That's one of the main draws of One Piece. Oda is a great author that constantly keeps his fans guessing, even now. I've been reading one piece for almost 15 years now. I have come to enjoy reading/watching people's theories just as much as I enjoy reading the manga every month. Keep guessing and keep being surprised by Oda. This is one of those arcs that I really really suggest you also read. The pacing is far better and there is a very specific part that had to be heavily edited for the anime. Have fun and enjoy the ride!

I feel like the difference between us and Lycan is that we are a lot more sure of situations because we have seen it repeatedly. But even if we use the context that you guys have been provided with, I dont see Lycan changing his mind even if Oda himself confirms it. Especially when it comes to death, we are quick to accept the deaths in flashbacks because we know that Oda turns into a freaking psychopath and kills off anyone but when its in the present he creates these fake deaths were they come back by the end of the arc.

If I remember correctly, the navy did call him the Sengoku the Buddha but never did they say what kind of fruit he has. I did like seeing Amenz finally getting what he wanted for so long, Ace being freed and Garp choosing is own family over what he stands for. It was the right choice too, he is their parent, he knows them best, so he should also know that by letting them go, nothing bad will happen, as they're not vicious criminals as they're called by the Government.
