I think the whole point of Luffy receiving the luck he has is that he’s so determined on his goal that he basically manipulates the world around him. Like how yogis and monks say if you want something so badly and focus on it the universe and higher powers at be will shift the world in your favor for it to happen. This is literally a war and as long as the enemies don't properly surrender (which they don't, they just run away while still fighting back) the navy has no reason to stop chasing them, even if their leader was defeated. Imagine if the U.S. suddenly stopped hunting down the fleeing Nazi troops just because Hitler was dead. WW2 ended after they officially surrendered.

Its not that blackbeard made the fruit more powerful, Whitebeard limited himself to protect his crew and ace from being harmed he protects his crew and looks out for them like a family should, Blackbeard expects his crew to look out for themselves unless he needs help he is selfish that way. Perhaps Whitebeard's age and injuries made it more difficult for him as well. I really wonder how today's admrials would fair against Roger, Whitebeard, Shiki, World, or Rocks crews.

In the first chapter of OP (in the chapter) the Narrator/Oda said Luffys on an Adventure of DESTINY Mihawk asked a Question to FATE wondering how Luffy will escape his black blade. The Question was answered by stronger and stronger fighters helping Luffy escape by standing in Mihawks way. Okama Jimbei Vista later Crocodile Daz Bonez. Mihawk identified luffys ability to make people want to help you and the War clearly showcased by the massive amount of people giving aid to Luffy every step of the way

I don’t think kizaru was scared of Ben bekman, not to say that Ben is not a threat, It’s just kizaru probably knows what ben is capable of and was probably thinking it was in his best interest not to attack in that position he was in. And Lycan said where was Ben when kizaru attacked law’s submarine, but Ben only threatened kizaru earlier because he was aiming to shoot at shanks. The whole ideal of pirates in one piece is everybody looking out for themselves (own crew). Which is why when people meet luffy and the crew people are surprised at why they would put their lives on the line to help people in need. We see it every arc.

i like that theory but i think shanks is a mysterious character not too much is known about him so he might have the most controversial opinion about what this war means for both parties and to change the fate of something he forseen by being a stronger version of what coby was at the end.

I think shanks was there the whole time, his purpose was to end the war once it got out of hand which is why he popped up when he did. In the pirate world ace said it himself everyone has their own adventure with their own crew mates and friends. Shanks could’ve saved ace and white beard but it would’ve been shameful for him to do when it’s white beards job to avenge his crew. But this is just me theory.

Not only did Shanks have the foresight to give Whitebeard a warning about stopping Ace way b4 but he also fought Kaido to stop him from joining the war (cause he would have fucked shit up) and one can assume he won or at least got him to turn around without sustaining major injuries which is in itself impressive

In episode 434 or 435 (29 hours before time of execution) there was a scene where Vice-Admiral Momonga was informed that Shanks came in contact with another Yonko - Kaidou. It was said that Kaidou was looking for Whitebeard and tried to intercept him, but Shanks interfered. So, there's your answer for why Shanks didn't show up earlier. He was "quite" busy.
