At the end was the first time that Luffy has ever doubted his dream out loud. One of the most powerful moments.

Instead of talking about shit that hasn't happened yet in your watch through, lemme point out something from the Enies Lobby arc that makes more sense after the ASL arc. Just before Sogeking shoots the flag and Robin declares her wish to live, they talk about the how the World Government is her enemy, and asked if Luffy understood. In the not so typical Luffy fashion, he said quite calmly "I understand who her enemy is very well". That scene hits a bit harder knowing that Luffy really did understand the situation and had more than enough reasons to declare war.

I agree this 'arc' is one of favs! And guys if you miss Ace you should read his novel its called ‘One Piece: Ace's Story’ its canon and its written by Oda! Also, the novel was adapted into a manga titled ‘One piece episode A’ illustrated by Boichi of Dr. Stone!

I usually never say this stuff in the comments but yeah Sabo is sadly dead. He's an amazing character and I wish he survived but Oda had to do it to us again. I was like yall hoping he was alive for years after the manga chapter with this and eventually I gave up. It just shows that Oda is such an amazing writer that he can get us each which away. It also let's us hate these Celestial Dragon bums more. They all need to get clapped. Lastly shoutout to Dadan. Thats a mother right there.

It's disappointing that they showed Sabo alive this early, originally, he isn't seen again for a few hundred chapters. As for how long his journey has been, from the day he entered the grand line it's been about two months. It's pretty hard to figure out the east Blue, but I can't see it taking any longer than one month.

loved this arc and it's still the same year so Luffy is still 17, I'd estimate a few months XD. When I think how short time has been it's really impressive that Luffy did all this growing, finding a crew, the war, etc. on his first year of being a pirate.

Yea if it is canon and even mixed with some filler dont miss it. Dont believe those stupid people that says this is just a boring backstory because this plays a major part of the story. Besides only a couple episodes are fillers anyway the one with naguri but it is mixed a little bit with canon material.

If Sabo is alive what the hell he didn't show up at Marineford then lol? And by the way, in the first episode, we were told that the ship where Nami was almost got into a whirlpool, but Luffy survived in this whirlpool, he climbed into the barrel. This is how it happened

I'm not sure if this is exactly spoilers because I'm pretty sure it was a question to Oda. So it wasn't revealed in the anime, at least I can't remember anyone in the anime saying how long the crews been together or anything like that. Its been only around 3 months since Luffy left.

According to Oda, the time period from when Luffy left Goa Kingdom to the present it's only been a few months.

At the end of this episode is only a couple of months since Luffy set sail....also if you haven't gone back and watched it Sabo told Luffy to say Hi to Dadan and he would say Hi to Sabo(in Heaven)

And when it comes to what Ace said about Sabo in Marineford just to clear up some confusion he said "If it weren't for you and Sabo" he told Luffy to say hi to Dadan for him, not Sabo.
