those slash from mihawk was intended for WB. even Mr.1 was able to block mihawk's attack right? so mihawk couldnt cut steel? no, it doesnt mean that way. because that attack was meant for luffy and mr.1 blocked it. after that mihawk cut mr.1 because it was meant to attack him. all im saying is, its all about to know the breath what needs to be cut. (as shown in alabasta zoro vs mr.1) so maybe mihawk could also attack jozu if he meant it. but idk. it was just how i think. mihawk even said in baratie arc that power in sword itself is not what a swordmanship is. Firstly the admirals are not the counterparts to the yonkou. If each of the admirals equal an emperor then the Navy could send 2 admirals to go kill/capture each emporer one at a time. The world gov/Navy are terrified of even 2 of the emporers teaming up. Idk where you are in the story but they were freaking out when shanks went to meet whitebeard. Also the biggest reason the emporers dont attack navy HQ is because it leaves their territory open to the other emporers and also even if they won they wouldnt be able to defend if another emporers attacked. Kaido went after WB when he heard that he was going to marineford and was only stopped by shanks crew. Still dont know how he stopped him because when shanks crew showed up at marineford the ship didnt seem show any damage so I highly doubt they fought. WB was the weakest yonko during the marineford arc. He was old, he was on life support, he was stabbed in the heart by squard before he even started fighting. When he sent a quake towards the scaffold all 3 admirals went to block it. The only reason akainu punched the first hole in was because whitebeard had a heart attack when they were fighting. Also if you think about it. If the admirals were all yonko level then when shanks showed up they couldve taken him out right there because battle damaged or not(and kizaru and aokiji were clean for the most part) if you have 3 people yonko level vs 1 then they should be able to jump and mop him. But thats not the case. It would take at least 2 admirals to take out any of the other 3 yonko at that point, AT LEAST 2. And since I believe benn beckman to be the strongest right hand and admiral level then they knew they couldnt win that battle after just fighting whitebeard. So all that to say imo and based on the overwhelming majority of evidence from the manga yonko>admirals>yonko 1st mates. And my list at marineford. 1. Shanks>>2.Whitebeard>> 3. Akainu>4.Mihawk>5.aokiji>6. Benn beckman>7.Kizaru>.8.Garp>.9.sengoku>10.marco/blackbeard. Also from imo from akainu through kizaru I see it as a marginal difference at that time to where it would be an extreme diff fight. Also one last thing, you talked about mihawk being higher than shanks because of his strongest swordsman title. In one piece you have to break up the title of swordsman because alot of people have swords but that doesnt mean theyre pure swordsman. So I see it as you have pure swordsman, like mihawk/zoro etc. Where all of their attacks stem solely from swordsmanship, then you have people like shanks where they are obviously great with a sword but thats not the only way they fight. I doubt shanks has a devil fruit but oda confirmed in a data book that shanks has full mastery over all types of Haki. So while mihawk might be better in terms of swordsmanship, that doesnt necessarily mean he would win in a fight. Lastly we need to remember that guys like Shank and his crew, Mihawk, the Admirals, Marco, Blackbeard these dudes are younger so they'll keep getting stronger. Whitebeard, Garp, Sengoku, while they're dope they're not in their prime anymore so while we can put them high on a list now, who's to say that they these others won't be higher than they are down the line? Just a random comment. Overall I love this video and I love the community giving their own opinions. This is the type of stuff we need to see. It would be dope for yall to rate each arc at the end of the arc from now on. Just give your likes, dislikes, rate your top 5-10 characters in that arc and then drop one of these videos. Kizaru (was causing problems all through this arc with that Spirit Gun until that real glock was put in his face) 10. Blackbeard (strong but inexperienced, he's got super potential) 11th spot would be given to Marco. His Devil Fruit is OP, he's experienced, he can fly, he's smart, he's dope. He's what Ace would eventually be had he not died and grew up some. And on the real I'd probably put Ace at like I don't know 20th. 12-19 would probably go to dudes from Shank's crew who I'm going to assume are crazy strong. Ace is strong and dope but the kid was young. It wasn't a situation like "hey Ace is this crazy young mega strong kid" like in other anime, he was a really strong kid who died an early death before he could reach his potential.

My top 10 (Based off of current strength during Marineford war, not people in their primes) 1. Akainu (took on entire WB crew and overwhelmed them, was undoubtedly the mvp of the war, yes he did get hurt by WB but he didn’t die and bounced right back, where WB didn’t bounce back from the injuries Akainu gave him) 2. Aokiji (Overwhelmed WB in their 1v1 and Jozu had to come save WB, Aokiji then mopped Jozu) 3. MIhawk (Worlds strongest swordsman currently in his prime) 4. Shanks (Yonko swordsman currently in his prime, managed to stop the war just by showing up) 5. Whitebeard (in his prime would be no 1 without a doubt, but old and sick WB struggled against Aokiji and Akainu) 6. Garp (Also no longer in his prime, but Garp still gotta be strong) 7. Sengoku (No longer in prime but is the current fleet admiral so he still gotta be strong, also looked to have the better of Blackbeard) 8. Marco (Fought well against all the admirals, seemed to have the better of Kizaru, has healing and is fast af) 9. Kizaru (is an admiral, light speed) 10. Blackbeard (Was hard to rank, he didn’t look like he was going to beat Sengoku, and he only just got his new powers, I think he would’ve been outspeed by Kizaru and Marco and lost but im not too sure on this one)

Yessir loved the video and discussion, might need another one of these (ranking the straw hats by favorites, top 10 characters so far, top 10 devil fruits so far, etc.) Still want to see a revisit of the openings up to the point y’all are at too! It’s hard to rank the strongest in MF being caught up in the anime and knowing more about these characters, but I’d add Oars Jr. and Boa as honorable mentions. Marco over Ace due to experience, rank, mythic Devil fruit and he was doing pretty decent throughout the arc. I’d rank Sengoku that high just due to his position as fleet admiral. Also if Garp was in his prime, I’d have a hard time NOT choosing him as the no 1 to be honest.
