Nah you can watch the movie right after the war. Since it took place between thriller bark and sabaody. They already saw everything they needed to see. You can tell by their reactions that they were not confused by anything in the episode. Every information they showed in the episode they understood.

Tbh, as someone who watched all big 3 anime. The most plot armor from the 3 shows is bleach> naruto > OP. Despite the episodes, OP got the least plot armor.

Roger,whitebeard, shiki = luffy, kid, law. And coby = garp with his respect and rivalry with luffy/ roger. All of this was on my mine during this part of one piece.

You missed the part where Garp turned down his promotion to become an admiral and chose to stay a vice admiral. Episode 0 is canon, but the movie is non canon, so pay no attention to Shikis strength levels in the movie because its bullshit nerfed for the sake of the movie. Appreciate the video drop boys, the best in the game.
