HunterxHunter: Episode 29 [RAW]

I won’t argue that the areas aren’t unique , but my main issue is I never have a good feeling of where this place is relative to another. The only time I felt this is in a future arc

I think one of the most underrated parts of HxH is the world building. A lot of shows can get pretty lazy when it comes to that, but HxH not only has a really in depth and interesting power system, but it also has it's own written language (like you see in the mid rolls), countries with different environments and political structures, and tons of really unique characters. HxH is a show that never stops feeling fresh and that's what's so great about it.

Hey guys, I'm just throwing it out there as a suggestion, but if you keep having trouble with copyright, it might not hurt to just do full timer reactions instead of showing footage. I don't know about other people, but I would rather get more episodes and have to sync up the episode with you guys than have to wait a month for a new one xD

I liked it a lot but that's a bit of a stretch to say, I'll give you that it might be close to DBZ, but not Naruto and OP.

HxH is better then any of the big 3(except maybe One Piece), the only reason it’s not talked about as much is because the Mangaka takes year long hiatuses due to back issues

IMO the only show that can stand with HxH at the pinnacle of Shonan anime is One Piece. Those shows excel at very different things and aren't really direct comparisons but each is a true masterpiece in story telling.

Haki and nen almost have the same concept. And so does reiatsu and chakra but both are trying to copy dragonball too much towards the end of their arcs. While haki and nen will still consider what kind of fighter you are and what nen abilities and devil fruits you have. So its not like the higher your power is its an automatic win. Take blackbeard for example two devil fruits but skilled haki users can still beat him or vice versa. I would like to give an example for HXH but it will be a spoiler to Double dragon

I've watched the big 3: Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach. All of them in their entirety, some more than once. HxH to me is still in its own league above them, mainly due to the consistent quality and pacing (literally all those other 3 have like massive filler arcs or dips in quality). Also, like others have said, HxH has the most in-depth and "fair" power system, while still allowing for insane variety. This show is a masterpiece.

HxH is so good 2 or 3 a week would be perfect. Always keep the power system in this anime in mind, it’s the best part about this series (along with Gon and Killua’s friendship). The most detailed and solid power system in anime.

Man, I would love more HXH a week. I think their plan for the new year is to do 2 HXH drops a week.
