Nah the only thing that really bothered them in these two episodes was the unnecesarry flashbacks. Just let them watch and find out for themselves. I think they mentioned this back then as well. They dont want people to tell them "Oh the next arc is gonna be good, Oh the next arc is gonna be bad. Ohh this next arc has bad pacing". Hell everyone thought they werent gonna like skypiea but its one of their favourite arcs. Everyone thought that they were going to like g8 but they just found it mediocore. Plus its not like they are waiting for 1 episode per week like some of us back then. Its different for people who are trying to catch up.

I don't understand people wanting you guys to drop canon episodes like 515. If you think about which Strawhats we saw already in these episodes, you would know who is left coming up. Also get used to Flashbacks lol.

I don’t get that. I much rather wait for a few months and have more condensed, well paced, and less episodes. It also gives much more of rewatch factor. Like I started one piece this year, and if it was paced like HxH, MHA, JK, etc, hell even Naruto (because their filler were full skipable episodes so canon didn’t suffer from pace) I could’ve watched One Piece 3 times in the time it took me to catch up and then rewatch it another 3 times in the last few months since I’ve been caught up. Everyone knows Marineford started it and it gets terrible in parts of Dressrosa and honestly goes down hill from there. The story is so great the pacing doesn’t really take away from it but yeah.

A lot of people overstate the poor pacing of One Piece. It doesn't just "get worse" and that's it. One Piece has periods of bad and good pacing. It's on and off and on off etc. You guys have a fair way to go, like multiple arcs, before it gets bad for prolonged periods of time

One Piece has been going NONSTOP for years. You can't have a show with the pacing of these other shows that complete an entire season in 12 episodes and still come out every single week. The choice was slower pacing, more fillers, or less episodes a year, and they decided to go with slower pacing, and I'm good with that. I think once you get used to it it's fine, but it's rough when you've recently binged through some of the earlier arcs especially.

Also to add to you point if you look at the manga they showed where each straw hat was at though cover pages. Then it was like 8 chapters on everything we getting now. So they do be dragging suck a lot. Trying to milk as much as they can

I understand how you feel but there is one thing you got to understand with One Piece pacing, the anime has always been pretty close to being up to date with the manga. That is the main reason the anime gets a bad rep with the pacing, dragged out scenes, and multiple shock face reactions that happen 1 by 1. The anime is about on average 30 - 50 chapters behind the newest content which fluctuate depending when they had filler arcs/episodes. I know it will not change how lack luster it feels to watch dragged out things like this but I just wanted to give you the "why" on what is causing this because being 50 chapters behind is only like 16 episodes.
