One Piece: Episode 546 [RAW]

My Mother passed away 6 days ago, re-watching One Piece through your perspectives had me ugly crying these past few episodes. Thank you for your reactions.

Ryuboshi and Manboshi pretending to be ok when Otohime is dying to stop Shirahoshi from summoning the sea kings hit them so hard mentally that it changed their personalities and how they spoke for the rest of their lifes. To me this is the sadest part of fishman island

Hey guys, just want to start it off by saying amazing reaction as always. One thing I want to note regarding the Fisher tiger situation is that it is comparable in a way to people that have DNR (Do not resuscitate ) status in Hospitals. Also as many pointed out Fisher would not be alright had he been saved with human blood. He had just been betrayed yet again after having a bit of faith revived by the little girl. Hence, had he lived, he would have either offed hinself or become worst than Arlong just saying. That said I do understand your points and respect them. Just wanted to toss that out there.

I laughed when you guys said what would you do if I gave you the human blood? "I'd wake up mad" as if after they wake up mad they'll just get over it. Giving Fisher Tiger human blood is like if you saved someone's life but to do it you had to turn them into a giant cockroach. Like yeah you did save their life, but they hate their very existence now and probably won't be able to live with themselves. The mental strain will be immense and suicide is highly likely, and their path to suicide wouldn't be pretty.

dont know if you picked up on it but that scenes the reason why the two brothers are goofy now. They are still doing thos things that cheered shirahoshi up. That lowkey fucked them up menetally.

I am 90% percent sure that Fisher Tiger would’ve killed himself if someone gave him that human blood . It was clearly shown just how much he hated humans. He would’ve never accepted living with the blood of the people he hates the most coursing through his veins. Hell, I probably wouldn’t have either.

Was she reckless? Yes for sure. That's the point, she's like Luffy in her convictions. If that means stupid, then whatever, Luffy isn't a genius either. If Otohime was "careful" she would be less interesting and important. Oda gives EVERY character some quirk or flaw to make the story unique. Not to mention pointless deaths are the most tragic often in writing.

Well here’s the thing, we all know fisher tiger’s decision is stupid.m, BUT it’s because we live in different times. Back in the day people are very prideful that even if it will cost them their lives, they dont care as long as they stand firm in what they believed in. Like for instance, kamikaze pilots in WW2 and samurais. There is even this story about a farmer in austria back in WW2 who was imprisoned and about to get executed for not swearing his allegiance to nazi and not following them. He was a given a chance to not get executed and be a free man by signing a document and swearing his allegiance to the nazis but still decided not to because of pride. Stuff like these happens, and yes to us it is kind of stupid but I think you have to respect people like that, it takes a lot of courage to stand for what you believe in even when it will cost you your life.

the way otohime ran to the fire over that paper is really weird BUT! i can understand since its her sudden reaction cause she really really values those papers! just like you lycan said you'd run over that if it were money since you give money a high value as your example. and to some people who doesnt give money that high value that much, they also wont run to the fire since they might think i can just find it again. so its just a different perspective how we value something. im just sayin. peace! :)

I'll say this, FUCK PEOPLE PERSONAL WISHES, if there's a way to save someone, then save that person, it that person comes to hate you then so what, I would prefer their hatred over lamenting their stupid deaths, one thing is to let someone die when there's nothing that can be done to save them, to when there's a way to save them but choose not to just because they don't want it, I would ruin friendships and family ties as long as I can save someone, then choose to be an idiot and let them die.

Hey Amenz, just so you know. The Ace Novel sheds light on just how strong Ace was. His true strength wasn't showcased properly in the series so people underestimate him. But the fact that he was able to beat Jinbe as a rookie should be proof enough that Ace was a monster.
