One Piece: Episode 601 [RAW]

I think my favorite filler came from when brook first came on the crew and he was annoying everyone and messing up tryna find his place as a strawhat. Nothing much happened but I liked it because it gave the viewer an idea of what the crew does when they aren't fighting or partying. Those are the fillers I like. In my opinion G5 was way over hyped. Not saying they were bad, just over hyped.

After multiple watchthroughs I think Punk Hazard's pacing is the worst of the series. At least in Dressrosa there's so much happening that even with the bad pacing theres enough to keep you excited, especially if you're watching multiple episodes

Apart from san and senpai, all the others are used for people that you’re close with/consider your friends. When G5 calls Smoker, Smo-yan, it’s basically them treating him like a friend even though Smoker is their superior. It’s mostly a cute name. Also notice how Sanji calls Nami with san and ALL the other girls with chan. His respect for Nami is way bigger (not that he doesn’t respect the other girls)

G8 is and always has been boring and too damn long. Once I watched it I looked up a filler list and made sure to never watch any OP filler after that. Long Ring Long Land without filler is great and Luffy vs Foxy is one of the best fights in the series and the fights showcases almost everything that makes One Piece what it is

don't put too much stock into double dragons opinions, I love these guys and their reactions but they always rate every arc a b plus or higher, like literally every time. I remember they gave fish man island a b plus lately after they finished it, and I remember they enjoyed long ring long land arc more than G8 [long island is IMO by far the worst arc in one piece and the only arc I hated and wanted to skip] . Plus whether they like it or not G8 is a beloved arc by fans and the majority love it, I still love g8 despite double dragon not liking it too much and majority of people love the arc anyways. also I just looked it up but double dragon also gave long ring long island a b plus. I respect their opinions though but the grade they give for every arc is always all over the place.

lol the G8 drama is back! i think the point was filler sucks in anime. but G8 was not as bad as most fillers are. and since it was hyped up to be these great amazing episodes the letdown was felt hard by u guys understandably so. it was supposed to be just some chill episodes with good funny crew moments. also i watched those episodes as a kid not knowing what filler was in the first place.
