Just a reminder that laws df doesn’t necessarily take physical power to cut things meaning as long as it’s in the room he will be able to cut it. The only factor is haki which would in turn mean he would need stronger haki than the opposing persons haki

Toei messes up a lot, like for example, Luffy actually doesn't go into gear 2nd like its a form anymore, he just uses it on his arm, or his legs as we saw in return to Sabody. Toei does this to save on Animation, cause they can reuse old animation and just clean it up.

My first time seeing this ep as well. The anime fucked up that Grizzly Magnum scene. Luffy one-shotted Caesar in the manga. Bad portrayal. It's a shame because last episode was a welcome surprise.

Yeah toei made Luffy look a lot weaker vs Hody and Caesar. Makes the defeat underwhelming in my opinion.

Grizzly Magnum was a lot more impactful in the Manga because Caesar couldn't block it at all. But in the anime they decided to add that weird blocking filler moment.
