You're like 75% right. They originally lived on the moon along with the fellow moon races, the Birkans and Skypieans. The three races had also built a robotic race called the automata. However, when resources on the moon wore out, the three races had to leave the automata behind as they headed for Earth. While the Birkans and Skypieans settled in the Sky Islands, the Shandorians made it as far as the Blue Sea.

2022-05-11 04:37:40 +0000 UTCthe way I understand it is that the Shandians were from the sky originally, then they fell to Jaya, and then after hundreds of years they got blasted up again. The first time the fell in a way that made them forget their history, or they chose to forget so that they could concentrate on protecting the ponyglyf.
