I stopped watching in s4 once they started straying farther from canon. Although I get that people are pissed about the ending (never saw it) it's completely understandable that the tv ending would suck when the author can't even finish his own work. Therefore I never really got why people are so mad at the tv writers. Martin was supposed to have finished the story already and he sandbagged it.

Breaking bad is really not that good, I like Walt and Jesse but the wife is a trash anoying character, Frank aswell. Got to the last season but i couldn't force myself to finish it, was draging sooo much and was always kinda boring

Dude. In Breaking Bad he blew up a car and called for a taxi to the location without anyone batting an eye. You can't even blow up a car like that. The cops in this show is really stupid. They cant for the love of god put two and two together. Also the dude thats supposedly very careful is not... I really liked Jesse, but not Walter, hes like a big stupid baby who only knows chemistry^^

The first arcs are fire, but the ending.... lets not talk about the ending. Unfortunatly the ending is what everyone remembers the most by the nature of an ending. Like imagine Naruto with an ending where Naruto doesnt become Hokage or One Piece, where Luffy wont be Pirate King.

The series is fire, but yes the ending jumps the shark. Once Dan and Dave ran out of source material there's a noticeable decline in quality. However if you want what I consider the perfect TV show, I'd suggest Breaking Bad.

Yup you have it right. Stop watching after season 6. This is the only show I've seen that I felt betrayed by how bad the ending was. The crazy thing is it was so half assed because the creators (Dan and Dave) got an offer to make a Star Wars movie, so they rushed the ending and gave up on plot lines. Ironically the people who hired him for Star Wars saw how badly they did with the final season of GoT that they were fired from the Star Wars project.

But the ending was ATROCIOUS, like all plot points and characters and logicality went out the window in season 8 which was the last season. like imagine if one piece is incredible like always but the last arc vivi becomes pirate king, and laboon is revealed to be shanks twin brother and he kills luffy , then garp reveals he was blackbeard all along, and then its revealed bellemere and kuina and robins parents and everyone was alive and it was all just a prank. like yeah, season 8 made no fucking sense and essentially ruined all the first few seasons, so if you don't care that game of thrones became awful after season 7 and beyond or you don't mind not seeing the shitty ending they gave I would seriously recommend only watching the first 6 seasons of got.

Honestly, I want to say yes cause of this shows greatness and it's potential to be the greatest tv show of all time at one point. But after "that" season it's hard to recommend it to people.. Although, it might be interesting to see your reaction to certain characters lol.

Well, I suggest skipping the last season as it is super rushed and don't stick to the story anymore. Plot holes everywhere. The writers abandoned the series and basically took a short one out, saying "f**k this series. The worst part is it is so incredibly good until the last season and that makes the last season even worse.
