very fair, I got hooked from the start as a kid but kids cant discern quality as well as we do as adults, we v seen much more of life. Naruto as a series has some crazy good payoffs later on imho, but yeh especially early Naruto is pretty meh. without my nostalgia, I d get pretty bored.
