Emergency Show: They Called Him The Count
Added 2023-09-14 01:00:02 +0000 UTCWith Pete travelling back from Japan, we're recording today's episode later today and then it'll be out later today. Said 'today' a lot there.
But we would NEVER leave the Pat Patreonsons without delicious Thursday morning content. For months, we've met with a series of crisis management experts to plan what action to take if the worst happens. Well, the worst has happened (Pete's got jet lag). And we've taken decisive action.
Here's a reading from the hard-to-find biography of the 1960s and 1970s British wrestling headliner Count Bartelli, focusing - in blistering detail - about his acquisition of a series of independent petrol filling stations between 1949 and 1960, which inexplicably takes up a lot of the book. It's some of the most detailed, brain-meltingly boring prose you'll ever hear in your life. And we've slapped our old theme tune on it, to bring you comfort in this unsettling time and because Marc couldn't find the new one because he doesn't label things properly.
This is Part 1. Pray we never have to resort to a Part 2.

Can we have a series of Marc reading and reviewing wrestlers autobiographies please?
