Subscription billing is here!
Added 2024-10-28 13:23:13 +0000 UTCWe know quite a lot of you have expressed an interest in subscription-based billing rather than the (a bit mad if we're being honest) first of the month model.
So thanks to Apple throwing their colossal weight around the Patreon ring and insisting everyone changes over to subscription billing - that's what we're doing, for all new subscribers!
If you're already subscribed; don't worry - everything will continue as normal.
Also - Apple have decided to levy a 30 percent fee on all new Patreon subscriptions that come in via the Patreon Apple iOS app - which is bloody annoying. What are we, Fortnite?
Don't worry though, Wrestle Me is going eat that cost, yum yum - and if you're already a Pat Patreonson subscriber through the Apple iOS app, you don't have to worry about a thing. All of this malarky concerns brand new subscriptions only.
So if you're considering signing up to the Patreon and you're using an Apple device - please consider doing it via a browser (phone or computer) and not through the app.
Or do whatever is easiest for you, Marc will still be able to buy his British Wrestling posters as he's started a side hustle selling crank. It's how he stays up writing the newsletter.
