Wrestle Me! addresses the nation on BBC 5 Live

This morning, Marc (writing in the third person, hello!) went on BBC 5 Live's Breakfast show with Rick Edwards to talk about Hulk Hogan for a maximum of 90 seconds, because it was at the end of the 6-7am hour and everything else had clearly overrun. While Rick was clearly clock-watching to hit the news bang on 7am, it's a fact that Wrestle Me! is now officially the voice of the nation.

Enjoy this thrilling "chat" about the late Hulk Hogan which lasted from approximately 6.58am until 6:59am this morning, in which you may also note the producer started playing the upcoming news bed very low in the mix after the first minute.

Pete and I (I've stopped writing in the third person) will do a special on Hogan in the next few days and there'll be more about the problems in that one than I managed here (hard to discuss the racism when you only have ten seconds on the clock.)

That sign off was rather incongruous. They’ll be using that word all over the Beeb now. The MotD hosts will make that their new word of the year. Replacing last year’s favourite, profligate.
