2025-08-25 11:00:43 +0000 UTCTV times was the Grubby equivalent of the BBC Radio times what I most remember is TV Times like the petrol station had a decanter deal with a grotty jewelers and like an old newspaper left ink on you thumbs there was a very odd period that till cable TV you'd have to buy two TV Guides a week and they always looked crap, till the 1990's as I remember TV weekly had bar codes in it as a selling point as Tandy TV had bar code readers for programming the video recorder so you could tape TV if you weren't home, as I had a Ferguson VHS player and to just program it to tape a video in 1 hour was like placing a Musk rocket on a platform. The most complex computations and it would still miss the final 34 second of TV shows
