I agree, and I think the Gecko Moria is definitely the grey area, if I had to make a hard rule, I would probably say that as soon as the ability creates people or creatures with consciousness or utilizes other people to work, then the ability is considered jumping (since this makes it so that the opponent has to fight multiple minds at once that work independently and assess different points of views), with my only caveat being unless it is the only ability available to the user. Because of this, Gecko Moria could be considered to be jumping people, since his clones retain their shadow's consciousness (even if they have to obey him), but he doesn't depend solely on them to fight since he has his other shadow powers. But, this makes it so someone weak whose sole power is to control people couldn't be considered jump.

So Hatchan (octopus fishman) using 6 swords against Zorro was a jump and not 1v1...lol Sorry bro, I'm with Lycan on this one. If it's their power (shadow clone, string puppet, move so fast its like there is more than one of you...) then it's still 1v1. Now there is some gray area I admit like Gecko moria using a bunch of zombies... technically it is his power, but it does kinda feel like jumping...haha

2022-06-04 10:17:16 +0000 UTCFrom my understanding if your getting attacked by a large number of individuals its considered "Getting Jumped". Clones usually count in this, even in games. Like in the Dark Souls games, if you use a Summon, the boss is considered getting jumped.
