I know its a little weird that Whitebeard didnt go to attack Wano but you gotta look at it this way. At this point in time he was still sick and hes past his Prime and Kaido is an absolute beast of an opponent quite literally. Whitebeard in the Summit war was impressive but he came there to die so he went all out. Now if Oden was captured that would be a different story a but because hes was already dead it would be purely for revenge. Whitebeard a man who cares for his family deeply would NEVER risk his sons lives over Revenge even if it was Oden. Also I dont think the Whitebeard pirates at that point in time would beat the Beast Pirates mind you this is the Beast pirates with the crazy man power and Smile. Even Whitebeard has his limits

2022-09-28 14:28:47 +0000 UTCThe reason as to why Kaido’s mythical zoan is a Fish type may be a reference from Oda to the Koi Fish that swam up the waterfall only to be rewarded by being turned into a dragon. Basically, Kaido is like Gyarados.

2022-09-27 05:19:52 +0000 UTCMarco's fruit is not a logia it's a mythical zoan type. Zoan users have physical bodies unlike logias. Marco's flames have regenerative properties, to a certain extent. That's why Marco's flames doesn't burn hot like Ace's.

Notice that was what we used to get up the falls on episode 891-892. Any Coi fish that made it to the top of the waterfall would be turned into a dragon by the gods. So essentially he has an awakened fish fish fruit is my take on it.

That was a much worse situation than the oden one btw because it was betrayal and a killing of your own crewmates and yet whitebeard didnt want to take revenge because he felt it was too risky and look at what happened to ace because he didnt listen. Remember whitebeard also has other territories he has to worry about and since oden died already, Taking on kaido one of the four emperors is like taking on marineford. And even though I know whitebeard could beat kaido. He wont really get any reward from it besides some dead family members (crewmates) after the war. He wont get anything back. Atleast in marineford he could get ace back even though it was still risky as hell.

You can't say Whitebeard doesn't consider Oden not a brother and not as close as family because he didn't pull up when Luffy hasn't pulled up to Akainu or Blackbeard. To take it even further, Luffy even saw Ace's Vivre Card diminish after Thriller Bark and when they asked him if he wanted to pull up he said nah Ace got his own stuff. At the end of the day they're all family regardless of what happened.

2022-09-26 23:59:24 +0000 UTCI definitely understand where Amenz is coming from, but the situation concerning Oden was much different from Ace’s. Whitebeard heard about Oden’s death YEARS later so I’m sure the entire event leaked out. So as far as Whitebeard knew… Oden was dead, Oden’s father was dead, Oden’s wife and children all died in the fire that burned down Oden’s castle, and the strong samurai who fought for Oden were presumed dead as well. So to Whitebeard, this means there was no one to save! To him, it would be a war for pretty much no reason.
