Hello! Some of you PPers have been asking about the PHENOMENAL theme tune we're using for the Patreon - so here it is, in all it's glory. It's called The Wrestler's Theme, and it's off of a 1981 New Japan vinyl record - I've got half a dozen of these in my collection (the long-running theme off the Wrestle Me! regular podcast is also a track from the first one of them I bought), but I don't have this one. So that's going to change, now I can legitimately claim it as a work expense.

It's been up on YouTube for 5 years, and barely 1500 people have ever heard it. Madness. It's the best song of all time. Annoyingly, there's a skip early on, but it BAAAANGS!

And here's also the theme we nearly used (but it wasn't as good as The Wrestler's Theme) - Sexy Panther by Mimi Hagiwara. Mimi was a huge crossover wrestler in Japan in the late 1970s and early 1980s, largely because she was very beautiful. This was a single she released to cash in on that popularity, and thank god she did, as it's also GREAT.

Pete and I are recording a whole lot this coming Tuesday - rest of Starrcade 1990 (we ran out of time before, recording timing fans), and a bunch of bonus episodes, so we'll have plenty more for you before this month is done.
