Just seen the Daniel Bryan as The Dazzler video. It's incredible 😂

Andy Cain

Off to find a JYD tee for fashion week now

Ross Pollard

BHS?!

Andy J

Just started Unsolved Mysteries 👍

Chris Bridson

I’m just remembering one of the Hayman/Lesnar promos. I can’t remember if it was the lead up to this or summerslam but he starts with Heyman: “Knock Knock” Crowd: “Who’s there?” Heyman: “Mike” Crowd: “Mike who?” Heyman: “MY CLIENT BRRROCK LESNAR!”

Michael Kipling

I actually chuckled at that punchline just now

M Haynes

Just watching now. The “forgetful cows” bit seems to be a set up for a “milk of amnesia” joke, but King doesn’t get the punchline out with any conviction and just ends up sounding like a confused old perv.

Ben

We're bleeding cross-references everywhere. I'd love to say it's to alienate the non-Patreonsons, but it's more down to basic ineptness x

M Haynes

I noticed a little “Good God!” from Wrestle War made its way into the chat about Hogan’s neighbourhood

Barry Williams

It's like a Cold War Steve memory

M Haynes

Same here - pulled me right back in after a few years dipping out. Completely down to Bryan.

M Haynes

I don't think either of us expected it, to be honest

M Haynes

This was the second Mania i attended! (I also did 25 like you, Marc,) I have a vivid memory of being in a bar on Bourbon St, listening to some jazz. A man with an Undertaker tattoo on his leg in front of me, and outside through the window I could see one large scouser, holding a LFC scarf above his head silently as he swayed in and out of the gutter. Good times. The wrestling was p fun too.

Shazz

Haha those casual fans are the ones more likely to need to hear them Liam

M Haynes

The lead to this and the event itself was what got me back into wrestling. The pay off at the end was incredible. Particularly pleased to see Warrior inducted. Then I learnt about all his awful beliefs he’d been expressing in the years prior.

Michael Kipling

Maybe I should add him to my 40 matches to watch for my 40th birthday. Though I'm also planning a marathon weekend of classics in September due to fashion week either being cancelled or more likely to infect me with something than an 80's locker room

Ross Pollard

Really loved the turn into true crime at the end

Pisspig

Petey D’s description of New Orleans is absolutely spot on! I was there for Mardi Gras last year and in the morning, well, I’ve never seen so many passed out college kids! Put it this way, it made Magaluf look like Harrogate Spa

Glen Walker

I always treasure you guys and your anti Ultimate Warrior views. Tiring having to sit through YouTube lists and other podcasts where the meanest thing they'll say about it him is that he was bad in WCW

Seibaa

Pretty miffed that the non patreon folks are getting the anti fascist rants for free.

Liam Casserly

Fuck me, my mate went to uni with Bilal

Jack Spence

To add to the Cesaro love here is a video of Ethan Page, Bryce Remsburg and Eddie Kingston sitting around and raving about what a lovely person he is. https://streamable.com/8ng5g

Stuart

Well if a picture of Pete can successfully be passed off as one of CM Punk then it can't be that hard to convince everyone that Bryan has always been known as The Dingler. Pete just needs to get the Pat Patronsons organised to make it happen!

Stuart Wiseman

Pete said it later in the show

Marc Neilson

It was Jordan Peterson

Marc Neilson

I don't know who that is! So no, I don't think so! Which bit?

M Haynes

I am so angry that this was real. In fairness, The Dingler remains 100% incorrect!

M Haynes

Ha, I would LOVE to see a sea of Buddy Landells

M Haynes

Hang on, found the thread but Jimmy's deleted the pic. Pete might have it somewhere.... https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/hryy4z/a_young_cm_punk_probably_learning_cult_of/

M Haynes

I am so old, this would not have crossed my mind. Thanks Marc!

M Haynes

Were you talking about Ben Shapiro?

Scott

Bloody brilliant as always but finally the mask has slipped and now we know Pete actually knows more about wrestling than Marc...... https://i.imgur.com/RMjCnVL.gif You'll need to go to the gif link for this to make sense..... it's nothing bad, honest!

Stuart Wiseman

Finally added a review on iTunes, you guys keep delivering, Rick Flairs in a sea of Buddy Landels

Ross Pollard

Can't wait for this one! Thanks chaps

James Aston

Anthony punktano is a reference to the YouTube music reviewer Anthony Fantano. Everyone of his video he does a joke fake name at the start of them.

Marc Neilson

Where’s this pic of Pete as CM Punk then? (CM Pete?)

Andy

Been looking forward to this!

Joel Bradley

Yeeessssss!

Saichung Lee
