I was meant to see AJ vs. Samoa Joe at a PWG show in Orpington back in 2006 - but he didn't make it for some reason, and we got Styles Vs. Jody Fleisch instead - as you can imagine, no one left disappointed. It was ten years later at Download Festival (one on done visit - don't judge me MH & PD, it's not like I'd ever own a Funko), where I realised that 'wrestling bug' was still alive and well when Joe appeared totally unexpectedly (had no idea he'd signed) and I nearly fainted from childish giddy excitement. It was also the first and only time I got to see Bayley's inflatable tube men in person - it was everything you'd want it to be.

2020-09-22 10:01:58 +0000 UTCI 'met' Samoa Joe at the signing after one of the Wrestling Channel shows at Coventry SkyDome (read, midsized dilapidated ice rink). He had the look of a man with a barely contained fury, but then he was sat between Raven (loudly asking the promotor how long he was expected to stay and sign things because the wanted to leave), and CM Punk (desperately avoiding eye contact with the public should he be expected to engage in polite conversation). I would've been furious too.
