In other novels I'd agree with it. But there are just five days she started to fight. So it's acceptable she didn't become a martial legend after so little experience. But I also feel she need to evolve to keep our attention

Why wasn't she desperately making this one dead ? She didn't hold back against the snake guardian, so why wait with this one when it already out-levelled her and could kill her even without the evolution ? For [Plot Point] ?
