Looks like the unofficial vote is in and wow, 95% of you were all about Zoey! So, she’s officially up first.
The model I picked up was originally designed for 3D printing, which means… let’s just say it’s a bit of a nightmare to work with in my world. Imagine a sculpture that’s been glued together with a thousand tiny, sharp shards that’s what the “mesh” looks like. It technically forms Zoey, but it’s messy and impossible to use as-is.
To fix this, I had to break her arms (don’t worry, she’s fine!) and adjust her spine just to get her into what’s called a “T-pose” basically a neutral, relaxed stance that makes it easier to build from. That part alone took way longer than I expected.

But here’s the cool part: having this base model is like having a physical statue in front of me. It’s the perfect reference point, almost like sculpting in clay while the real person is standing nearby. In the 3D world, that’s gold.
Working with these models also reveals little quirks. For example, Mira came out way too short, she instantly lost about six inches of height. That showed me I need to pay close attention to proportions with Zoey as well. How tall is she really? How thick are her arms and legs? Where does her hairline begin and end? Even the size of her hands matters.
By cross-checking the movie with the 3D model, I’ll be creating my own version that balances both staying true to her design, while also making sure everything feels accurate and natural.
The head is first and THE most important part I would say. all the emotion and personality comes from here.
Future updates will be for the $5+ guys to fill there tier requirements, to follow along with the build and help me please consider support.
Apple users I would go to a desktop/laptop and sign up there so you don't pay the "Apple Tax" from using there store.
Looking forward to what you guys think of her! <3
