I tend to donate to United Nation Child Hunger Fund, St. Jude Hospital, Shriners, and directly to my local shelters and community kitchens because I know the money is going directly to the cause. I definitely won't fault you for not donating but just unabashedly say no without becoming jaded. I said "no" many times when I didn't have the money and sometimes even when I did. The point I'm trying to make is charities shouldn't be viewed negatively especially when the corporations practice what they preach by not only making charitable contributiona to worthy causes but bring awareness to them. I don't think Panda Express is risking an IRS audit skimming money from their donation fund and adding it to their profits. Unfortunately we will never see the day charities cease to exist.
