In the light novel it said that the males often go out on hunting trips. Roxys dad is the gate guard which is why only he is seen, along with of course the elder. No harem situation with the Roxys dad.

2023-04-07 12:48:44 +0000 UTCbtw Roxy's dad is not the only male in that village :D first of they didn't give any hint at some kind of harem situation, since the dad was always seen with the mom. Plus we also meet the village elder when we first see the village. I don't know if this is still a thing or if it was only in good fun(that was how I took it).

2023-04-06 19:42:56 +0000 UTCAbout the Roxy dad situation, to me it just looks like the trope of the dad not wanting to give it's daughter. But that's just my 2 cents on it, if there is an ulterior motive behind it that would be a complete 180 on my view of him.
