I think Zeus would stay alive if Big Mom was dead. The way I understand it is Big Mom puts a certain amount of life into her homies and things, a month, a year, whatever, so even if Mom died, Zeus would live until that timer ended. So I imagine Zeus is probably a Straw Hat until the end of the adventure, then his time would expire and he'd disappear. Whether Big Mom is alive or not. If I'm wrong, I'm sure somebody will come and correct me. That's just how I see it.
