I remember a while back when the movie released CBR published an article on why Yuta should be the MC. Tbh I favor Yuta slight more. As far as Gojo not doing anything to Getou. In S1 Getou has a massive scar across his forehead. I think Gojo did merc him and he recovered using healing through an advance reverse cursed technique or a pact of somekind. He even mentions in S1 that he's skulking around and how things would be bad for him if the school knew he was involved. Gojo showed mercy to him in the past in a flashback when he had Getou in his crosshairs. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice.
