Im really late to the reactions but this was one of the biggest plot holes in my opinion like. Youre telling me the fire nation over threw ba sing se and it didnt occur to ANY of them or to the king that hey the king told them the plan of attacking during the eclipse.

One of the points of the eclipse was to offset the fact that Aang also can't Firebend, since it wouldn't work during that time anyway. Keep in mind he's going up against the strongest Firebender in the world. Aang already has trouble with just Azula lol

2023-08-06 00:43:01 +0000 UTCAang won’t be as strong as Roku for two reasons, an Avatar is only at full strength when fully realized meaning mastering all four elements, second Roku mastered the Avatar state on top of the elements, when Roku beat Sozin he used the Avatar state to blow up the palace, Aang isn’t ready for Ozai who is the strongest firebender without question.
