2023-09-22 01:16:02 +0000 UTCYou know, hearing you guys talk (Mainly, Lycan, but I agree with his view, I'm not trying to pick a fight) about not liking the way Katara finally accepted Aang's feelings makes me feel attacked but in a good way if that makes sense? I used to be the kind of person who wouldn't be ready and wanted someone to wait for me, but it inevitably always blew up on me. I would feel like it was their fault for liking me, blaming them for misconstruing my own actions, but I later realized I was in the wrong for stringing them along. I've apologized to some of them who didn't cut me off and can say that we're good friends, but I don't blame the ones that don't want to talk... Now, things are different in my life, I'm not indecisive and I'm honestly upfront when I don't share that person's feelings even if I do find them attractive in the moment. I'm glad I've gotten rid of that trait which I now think of as toxic, and the coincidence of hearing this topic being brought up felt like a scolding but also a reminder.... And now that I've shared so much unnecessary information about myself, I'm going to pray you don't actually read this. But God bless both of you and I can't wait to continue watching you two react!!

Reaction was great - I honestly don't know if I have a favorite moment the entire finale was pure heat but if I had to choose I'd say Aang avatar state consciously showing mastery of all elements he's been training. Can't wait for Korra it's solid fsho!

Can’t wait for Korra, for me it’s like a 7/10 overall with ATLA being like 10 since it’s the first reaction series I ever saw on YT maybe 15+ years ago. I think it’s fitting they never showed Uncle Iroh fighting, ever since the beginning we knew he had hidden strength that was never shown only given subtle hints.

2023-09-15 06:21:27 +0000 UTCnah korra way better than boruto as a continuation and my favorite moment was both the main fights katara getting azula with the ice prison as soon as azula is about to release the lightning at point blank range and and entering the avatar state with all the elements and the condensing of the rocks and then using those same rocks to create a machine gun just iconic.

To clear up some things, katara didn't blood bend because blood benders could only do it during a full moon, not to mention she probably wouldnt want to use it unless absolutely necessary. She could also heal with normal water. That water she used on aang when he got shot through with lightning was special spirit water that had amazing healing ability.

Anytime I'm feeling down, I watch this show. Uncle Iroh's wisdom helps a lot. If you wanted to learn more about what happened after ATLA, there are comics about what happened after. Also, there are 2 books about Avatar Kyoshi's life and 2 books about Avatar Yangchen which was the Air bending avatar Aang talked to on the turtle. I've slowly been collecting the books and comics to get my fix since its only recently that ATLA talked about a new series of them being older.

2023-09-15 00:12:45 +0000 UTCSeeing the finale back in 2008 when I was 12 I rooted so hard for Zuko and relished in Azula's take down. When I rewatched the series a couple of years back I couldn't help feeling deeply sorry for Azula. Especially when Irohs words to Zuko in Book 3 came full circle. "She's crazy and needs to be taken down" Azula fitting the intelligent and machiavellian character archetype made me instantly love her. Hats off to the VA Grey DeLisle for her noteworthy performance voicing Azula. I can see why she was revealed to be one the creators favorite villain in the entire series.
