2023-09-17 01:25:50 +0000 UTCGood point. I think that seeing these matchups and him takedown enemies who were downright underwhelming like Shawlong really jaded me when it came to Hitsugaya. He's one of my favorite captains but my least favorite to see in a drawn out battle. Seeing him speed blitz opponents with excellent swordsmanship and the fast yet devastating release of his bankai was amazing to see.

2023-09-17 01:17:26 +0000 UTCHitsugaya has always been this strong, he just usually has bad matchups. Bazz B is literally his worse opponent cuz of fire and he had no bankai att. Halibel was back and forth fight cuz they could cancel each other powers but still he won when he stopped holding back. And Aizen is just outright stronger. Every other opponent he oneshots: Shawlong, Luppi, Yukio and Cang Du. Even here, he was easily destroying Mayuri in actual combat but Mayuri is a cheat code with prep time

2023-09-16 23:57:40 +0000 UTCI refuse to believe Kurotsuchi isn't considered the biggest threat in Bleach. One of the greatest things ever introduced to us in a Mayuri fight was "Zombified" Hitsugaya with the clean all white fit. He's capable as heck when he's not wearing that baggy trailing captains coat. Been a long time since Hitsugaya got me hyped.
