Draconic Troll

Gigatrocis draconinus

A rare species of a true troll (Gigatrociae) that roam the Basran mountain range. It looks like a hybrid of a dragon and a troll with the thick scales covering its body, a long and heavy crocodilian tail, extra pair of arm, and a lizard-like head. What sets it apart the most from the regular troll is its innate ability to use draconic magic and its resistance against fire and acid which typically were troll’s greatest weakness. It is also highly intelligent and showing some dangerous curiosity toward magic. Some researchers hypothesize that draconic troll gets their unique traits and ability just like how some sorcerers born with draconic power inherited by their draconic ancestors.

Due to their appearance and magic that typically focuses on curses and rituals, they often referred to as ‘Draconic Hag’ despite not being a hag.

This one actually based on a character / NPC I made for my evil campaign. A Troll with Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer class. Troll is one of my favorite monster in classic RPG / D&D. Their grotesque and cruel nature, the frightening regeneration ability, and the variation you can make based on them is really interesting. That's why instead of making some type of dragon again, I decide to mix those two into this monstrosity~
