Sanguilentus sanguilentus
An aberration that could only be found within the sacred dungeon in the inner sanctum of the temple of The Blood Mother. Despite how it looks, hemogoblin is a type of ooze that mutated and formed a colonial organism. When they’re in a passive situation, they move sluggishly as a huge blob of blood-red jelly. But when they found prey, they would send some of the nuclei out like a pseudopod. Each nucleus would form a solid exoskeleton and limbs made of carbon and iron to form a goblinoid-like creature which then swarms the prey to torn it to shred and suck their blood. This goblinoid form is what gives them their name.
Each goblinoid can move independently outside the blob, but only for a few minutes before it needs to come back or reattach itself to the main blob. As long as the nucleus is intact, the goblinoid can freely reform itself by pumping more ooze from the main blob. Each hemogoblin and the goblinoid it spawns are actually a drone who shares their senses and a part of collective intelligence commanded by a queen which is referred to as ‘The Queen of Heart’.

I saw this a few days ago and came back because I realized it was a pun. Hemogoblins made from Hemoglobin
