Solmaris aestus
Sol fish can be found in the tropical sea located north of the Tierra peninsula. It is well known as ‘Deep Sun’ and ‘Night Sun’ because of its unique hunting method and ability. The big red ball in the middle of its torso can instantly lit up and emits an incredibly intense heat that burns extremely bright even underwater. The instantaneous rise in temperature would instantly boil nearby water turning it into steam and causing a massive steam explosion, knocking out, and even killing nearby fishes. Fishermen often seek a sudden bright light in the sea to pick up remaining fishes that float up unconscious or dead. A lot of superstitious beliefs surrounding this fish has been preventing the researchers from further studying this creature and the nature of its ability.
Basically, Sunfish if Sunfish actually doing Sun stuff... The idea came to be after watching thermites burning underwater and underwater steam explosion.
