Atrocious Angler is a tricky ‘sword.’ In fact, it might be more accurate to call it a whip rather than a sword because the ‘sword’ itself is just a decoy. This weapon is made of two unique materials with their own separate enchantment. The blade is made of a particular organ from a deep-sea creature from Oumia Archipelago that can emit a bioluminescence glow in a specific pattern that makes any creature unable to take their eyes from it. In contrast, the whip-blade is made of the scale of Umbra Serpent from the same region, which has the innate magical ability to become invisible in a dim light environment, even to a creature with the ability to see in the dark.
The Atrocious Angler is a unique weapon that can function as both a shortsword and a whip. After making an attack with the shortsword, you can use a bonus action to make an attack with the whip.
Hypnotic Glow. While in dim light or darkness, when you hit a creature with the shortsword, its bioluminescent glow creates a mesmerizing pattern that distracts the target. The next attack against the affected creature has advantage. This effect lasts until the end of your next turn.
Invisible Whip. While in dim light or darkness, the whip component of this weapon becomes invisible, even to creatures with darkvision. During your turn, You have an advantage on the first attack with the whip against creature that can't see it. When you have advantage on an attack roll with the whip due to its invisibility or the Hypnotic Glow effect, the whip deals an additional 1d4 slashing damage on a hit.

Hi, yes, my plan is since I won't be doing Inktober, I'll go back and make stats for my older items. In fact, this weapon actually already has stats (albeit it might still a bit raw), it's just that I haven't got the time to make the card for it.
