Horned Nerveburrow

Muscachirurgia grandis

It is the largest species in the nerveburrow family. Unlike its smaller relatives, the adult drone can grows up to 70 cm, It lives in a much smaller colony around a dozen drones with only one controller, and they’re making a stationary living nest instead of a mobile one. When an injector drone is produced It subdues its potential victim with its paralyzing venom before bringing it to a safe place and Injecting a controller larvae into its brain then laying the drone eggs around it. The injector will also act as a caretaker until the drones hatch which then begins the process of building up the nest. Despite their large body, Horned Nerveburrow has tiny and nimble needle-like appendages capable of performing a complex surgery that allow them to stitch together biomass that they collect to build the nest. Just like other nerveburrow, they keep their nest alive and safe. The controller also keeps them happy by stimulating the constant production of endorphin, dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and blocking their pain receptor.

Although I feel like I should be actually come up with different creature... Nerveburrow is just one of my favorite and it refuse to get out of my head. So I end up making another species of it. Also thanks to Senu for leaving that wasp link in the discord it's a good reference~ XD
