Azalian Accolade

Weapon (scimitar), legendary (requires attunement)

The Azalian Accolade is a legendary scimitar forged from the ashes of Su'aharaja, the immortal primordial fire elemental whose existence birthed the Great Azalia Desert. This sword is a symbol of a promise made long ago between the first leader of the Azalian people, who were desert wanderers, and Su'aharaja. Imbued with the elemental's fiery essence, the blade leaves a trail of flames that form an image of a firebird with four wings, which become the emblem of the Azalis Empire, a symbol of both their sovereignty and their alliance with the ruler of the great desert. Brandished by Azalian monarchs during their coronation, the scimitar serves not merely as a weapon but as a regal emblem, affirming the emperor's rightful place on the throne.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit with an attack using this magic scimitar, the target takes an extra 2d6 fire damage. Fire damage dealt by this weapon and the fire elemental summoned by it ignores resistance to fire damage, and creatures that are immune to fire damage still take half damage.

Burning Banner. As a bonus action, you can ignite the Azalian Accolade in a brilliant display of fire. Each swing of the blade conjures a trail of flame, with the emblem of a firebird prominently displayed within, reminiscent of a war banner. While the sword is ignited in this manner, which lasts for 1 minute, you are immune to fire damage. Additionally, allies within a 30-foot radius of you that can see the blazing emblem gain courage from its presence, making them immune to the charmed and frightened conditions. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), regaining all expended uses after a long rest.

Emissary of Su’aharaja. Once per dawn, as an action, you can summon a fire elemental in the form of a large firebird with four wings and it has a 60-foot flying speed. The elemental appears in an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet of you. It acts on your initiative count and follows your commands. The elemental remains for 1 hour, until it drops to 0 hit points, or until you dismiss it as a bonus action.
