I think you're right. Him quiting the gang while remaining with Hina would've heavily altered the future. I can see Takemitchy choosing to remain with Hina and her death still being inevitable because Kisaki haven't been dealt with. Good point.

That aside, the breakup might matter later just cuz it’s a story, but as of rn, I don’t see how the 2 connect. Either way, even if Takemichi resolved everything, if he stays a gang member then what’s the point of dating her again unless he just says, “fuck it”
