On the other hand, you are more likely to find one that match your taste if you try them out, but it's so tedious ... The last surprise I had was "Reincarnated as a sword", I liked the characters a lot, but it's so shallow compared to ReZero & Mushoku.

The lap pillow scene to "little evil ass dog" and everything in-between had me laughing the whole reaction. I'm glad you both had perspective and sympathy and didn't write Subaru off as a crybaby. Watching these Re:Zero reactions have brought a great joy and sense of entertainment to my weekends.

You guys are just fortunate to have started with some of the top one such as Re:Zero, Mushoku, and Slime. Glad you guys are liking the genre though they've just been spamming Issekai over and over after the success SAO first season. Its like 4-6 Issekai's every anime season now and most of them are repetitive.
