I started watching this drama with u and its amazing i am so hooked! its crazy thinking that Korea actually went thorough things like this in real life. How Japan and America invaded Korea. And i love seeing how similar dong mae and eugene are. dongmae left Korea to fight for Japan and how eugene left Korea to fight for America.

Like u said dongmae and eugene are similar thats why hui seong gives another energy in the drama lol. he seems so happy and nice to everyone and when he was thinking about his mother's scar i don't know but he seemed shocked when she removed her scarf its like it was his first time seeing his mother's scar which is i think thats why he kept thinking about it. i don't think that he is a bad person because i think in episode 2 he looked annoyed with his grandfather so it seems like he doesn't really like his family and i think thats why he stayed in Japan this long.
