2021-05-26 08:49:50 +0000 UTCIn my opinion, the reasons of Aeshin left Eugene: As Joseon carry out Hierarchical system, society was ruled by the yangban(noble), who had several privileges. Slaves were of the lowest standing. Can you remember that Eugene ask Aeshin "This country you're trying to protect. Who is it for?Is there a life for butchers or slaves?". Aeshin think that saving Joseon is the righteous thing before. But now Aeshin recognized that she is saving a country that is good for noble only but not lower class. Lower class can't obtain any benefits on saving Joseon. She doubt that saving Joseon is the righteous thing or not now (so that she ask her master in order to confirm army leader is noble or not). She was shocked because of losing belief. Also she ashamed of noble (even herself) who let Eugene suffer.
