Snowdrop 3

This series gives me anxiety 100%.

In my opinion, if they wanted to assure us that this has nothing to do with romanticizing a north Korean spy and all the history involving Korea, I don't think they did a good job. To be honest, each episode just seems to re-afirm the sole reason there's a petition in the first place...

JTBC trying to make the viewers look like clowns or something? 🀑

Idk I kind of don't want to talk about the historical aspects of this drama as I'm not Korean but in my opinion it's to early in the drama to reveal who he is you know it could be like a mistake that he isn't really the spy and everything bc they like to do it in dramas. Me and my sister personally enjoy this drama a lot but we don't really talk about these historical aspects just enjoying the plot and chemistry between Jisoo and Hae-in

No offence but, I found your comment really disturbing. I respect your thoughts. However, I think it is not appropriate to leave such a message here.(some Patrons may not interested in your political agenda) You disagree airing Snow Drop, You have plenty of places to have debate.(BUT NOT HERE, If this really matters to Korean, then go to place where Koreans are) Also, Please don't refer to yourself as β€œWE OR KOREANS”. Not all Koreans agree with you.(including myself) and Please don't say international fans only pursue fun. You don’t know that. Please be careful anything that might hurt other people's feelings. Lastly what makes you to think that you have any rights to say stop reacting this drama? If Tsuki decided to stop reacting it, that will be it. Don’t tell her what to do. If you don’t like it. You can just skip it.

Hi. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude for your opinion. I am Korean (sorry for my bad english.). Korea has a painful history, and its history is still distorted for political reasons. So many Koreans expressed concern about the history distortion before the drama began. However, JTBC pushed ahead with the production of the drama, saying there would be no distortion of history. Who doesn't know that the male protagonist, the North Korean spy itself, once again hurts the past democratization activists who were falsely accused of being the North Korean spy as a democratization movement. Jtbc is just ignoring all of this for commercial gain. So we opposed the drama's broadcast, but some international fans (people who are not interested in Korean history or political situations and only want fun from K-cultural content) turned Koreans into strange people who discriminate against decent dramas. This is not a small thing in Korea, and there are still many people suffering from it to be called history. It's not over yet.Β These dramas will eventually adversely affect everyone living in Korea. For example, in Korea, the daughter of a dictator and former president was released as a Christmas particular pardon a few days ago. It was carried out with the current president's discretion as a secret to all citizens. international fans only watch this drama for fun, but it is reality and responsibility for Koreans.Β So personally, I hope you stop reacting to this drama. Besides this drama, there are many good k-drama that have not distorted history.Β

I totally agree. They keep trying to remind viewers that the drama has nothing to do with the painful history of Korea, but the viewers are not idiots.

i personally don't see the romantization in the first place (not in terms of spys or police) and this is coming from a tv/cinema analysis point of view. i think it will always look weird because the subject in general is controversial and complex. but its just my opinion obviously if someone disagrees its fine. i still don't think a petition for cancelation is fair but it's still episode 3 and only 5 have aired, is still to early to really say what he is or the story as a whole. thanks for the reaction!!!!
