Oh these two episodes are so good! , he says, just like he says for every episode you watch in season 2 and 3. No but I really love The Beach, it adds so much depth to the fire nation kids. During Azula’s short little monologue she seems to maybe show some real emotion and vulnerability. But she plays it off like “Ha, I couldn’t care less that Mom hated me”, but I really like that it’s up to the viewer whether or not you believe that shes being truthful. And I just love getting a chance to see them in a situation that isn’t high stakes or intense combat, and just explore their individual personalities and how they all mesh (or don’t). We get plenty of that for Team Avatar, but not really for Team Azula. Also them bonding over trashing Chad and Ranchan’s party always makes me laugh, cuz it’s just such an absolute dick move 😂
